A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT:
Dear Brother and Sister Veterans:
The Wall That Heals will be in Leominster Massachusetts on November 3, 4, and 5. It will be open 24 hours a day for viewing by veterans and the public. Special remembrance ceremonies will be held twice each day. Help us ensure that this visit to North Worcester County will be appropriate, reflective, educational, and represent the experiences of those who served and died during the Vietnam War.
I am asking all veterans who served between 1964 and 1975 attend this three-day event. You are the direct link to the 58,000 young men and women whose name are listed on the Wall. We Will Never Forget. It is only the veteran who can facilitate the true meaning of service during these difficult times. You are the honest and clear voice that will give testimony to their legacy and service.
Please join your brother and sister veterans as we represent military service. These fine young men and women gave their life; we can give them a voice for three days.
I look forward to our meeting.
Yours in service,
Richard Earley, President, Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 116
